Red Thread Dichroic Glass Jewelry

I have created a special series of Red Thread dichroic glass pendants. The copper wire embedded in the glass symbolizes the Red Thread of ancient Chinese origin. The thread represents the connectedness of children with all those who are destined to come to them during their lifetime.

According to Traditional Chinese wisdom, when a child is born an “invisible red thread” connects that child to the people who will play a part in the child’s life- past, present and future. Nothing, not geography, age or circumstances will change that destiny.
